Assistance to the efficient market hypothesis?
I would appreciate any help with EMH. How is that? I would appreciate if someone gives some guidance on how to ask this question. Thank you! The Kuwaiti government has offered to sell 170 million British Petroleum shares, representing approximately 2 billion dollars. Goldman Sachs, an American investment banker, was contacted after the share market closed in London and had an hour to decide whether to bid on the population. He decided to offer 710.5 pence ($ 11.59) per share and Kuwait agreed. Then Goldman Sachs to find buyers. They visited 500 institutional investors and individuals worldwide, and has sold all shares at 716 pence ($ 11.70). The sale is completed before the London Stock Exchange Open the next morning. Goldman Sachs $ 15 million U.S. a night. Discuss this agreement in terms of market efficiency.
Move the issue of homework.
