I spent 10 years in New York and am now in Seattle. It depends on where you live and interact with respect to how their experience be. I lived in Manhattan and worked in the slain fashion pace was fast, I could not make friends with people who have worked with him, because he was a dog eat dog world. I no longer work and Seattle, while a large cosmopolitan city is a slower pace after New York, although I've been here a short time, I must say that I like here. I few friends in Texas and have been to both Dallas and Houston, and found and people of Texas to be very friendly and welcoming. You never know until you try. But it will be very different.
