It was the SS uniform and insignia of the black head of death is not a huge indicator for what would follow?
The People will not realize it was time to leave Germany when the SS was presented to the community?
The Head of death came later and has been for the elite SS. Contrary to popular belief, not all SS wore black uniforms, but different colors depending on the device. The SS began as bodyguards to Hitler in the 20s to protect themselves against attack by Communists in the meetings and gradually developed the Nazi elite. Pretty funny, many of the principles of the SS uniform were made by Hugo Boss!
