German universities can streamline the student visa in Germany?

I am a Mexican citizen studying in the United States. I recently been accepted into the German University through an agreement between my school in the United States and the state of Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. I asked a student visa and employee at the consulate I said it usually takes about 8 weeks for processing. My classes begin in less than a month! Someone told me that the university in Germany might be able to speed up the process ... is this true?, although I have accelerated my visa in time? Has anyone been in a similar situation with a German student visa?

I am currently studying in Baden-Württemberg as a foreign student. But my situation is not as complicated as his. I come from Canada and Canadians do not need a student visa to enter Germany as a student. I think your situation is somewhat more complex because you Mexican nationals are studying in the U.S. Remember that the German bureaucracy is 1) slow and 2) very strict. It is necessary following a depletion of the order of rules to get what you want. I strongly doubt that the University will be able to accelerate the process, but you can take a chance and I ask, you lose nothing. Question: Why was not applied for a student visa before? I also think it funny how your classes start in less than a month ... when is it? Germany is not the fall semester, winter and Summer only. Wintersemester and begin in late September or early October. anyway, lucky!
