Helmet Liner

I have a question about mounting a motorcycle helmet.?

I did some research on new helmets, and just got ICON Alliance SSR my helmet, a question, while the overall fit is good, (tight but comfortable) is that you can add a little padding under the liner to ensure the seal is tight around my ears? I think I have an oblong head, seems to correspond to the front of the forehead the back of my head, just a little free space on the sides where my ears. The helmet does not move independently of twist. In general the helmet is comfortable, but it looks like it could benefit from additional padding around the ears to muffle the sound only. Front to back is as tight as I can stand and be comfortable, not to overlook some of the sides. Any comments? I just wanted to make sure it was not a security risk because it is a little loose on the sides of my head, encased fall. but if the addition of certain types of fillers may make it more concise, and then be wrong:)
