Ok, people are kidnapped on American soil by Mexican drug gangs. Why not just put a minefield miles wide at all?

There are a large number of Americans who have joined observers throughout California, Arizona and Texas, as the lines of border with Mexico. They work as volunteers and have been very successful to assist the Border Patrol. You can still use many observers as having more eyes on the activity of the boundary of several of these crimes will stop. Join them, I'm sure if they are good and honest citizen who will be a welcome addition to this effort.
