Two DSL modems can be configured for two different computers on the same phone line?
Recently, my brother bought his first computer and I wanted to connect to the Internet. She lives with my sister, who already have DSL service from your own PC. I try avoid wireless connections, since I'm not too worried by this sort of thing. Your modem does not have additional ports to run the connection through new PC for my brother either. But I have a spare DSL modem, can connect the DSL modem to the telephone line Spare my sister and connect the computer to my brother to the Internet as well? Remember, my sister's original DSL modem is already connected to your PC, it would be introducing a second home DSL modem in the same phone line, but in a room separate from my brother. Thank you!
To get two computers on one DSL line, yoiu a device for separating the signal. Unfortunately, this device is a router. (What I wanted to avoid). They are not difficult to install. And it should not be a wireless, if you do not mind having the bedroom a cable Tring bed brother. (You had to run a cable into the DSL modem was able to do) But you can not make DSL modems on the same line. They need something to separate the two signals and is the router. Sorry!
