How would you address a letter to a WW1 soldier?
I had to do a project and write letters to a solider.
He was a pilot in the Royal Air Force, how would I address the letters on the envelopes.
His Name is William Hastings
So the address would essentially be...
William Hastings
...
what do i put after the name?
thank you so so much!!
Find out his rank and address him as such.
Say he is a Captain so write RAF Captain William Hastings and go from there. Or if you don't know his rank just put Mr. William Hastings. Either way would be appropriate.
This is very noble of you!
