Revival of the iron cross?

the german president think about for a revival of the medal Eisernes Kreuz (iron cross) (which the soldiers of ww1 and ww2 get )for the the german soldiers of the Bundeswehr.What do you think about it (i mean no german soldier fight like other nations in afghanistan or like in the world war.But on the other side the history of the medal was another before the world wars)?

If they have soldiers in the field they should decorations for valor. The Iron Cross was given for battlefield heroics, not for politics. I don't see a problem with it.
