CHALLENGE: Troubleshooting?
Ok, this is an issue related to the solution of problems of the Olympic Games (in progress). There are three states in Australia are participating - Vic (Tory), SA and WA These are the facts: In general, all states have won 186 medals (gold, silver and bronze). Victoria won more gold medals. SA were only gold, bronze medals. Vic and SA had the same number of medals money. WA had two silver medals, bronze medals. WA had a gold medal than the bronze medals Vic. Victoria was so gold medals and one bronze in the combined SA and WA. This number is 3 / 4 of total medals won by SA. The number of gold won by all states is one less than the total of Vic's. How many medals of each type in each state wins?
GV = 33, G = 14 GW = 27 Sv = 16, SS = 16, SW Bv = 21 = 26, B = 14, PC = 19 It is easy to calculate that SW = 5k +1 for an integer k that, get 35k - 8 +2 = 186 GW Regarding GV = 9k -3> Gw it is possible only for k = 4 and GW = 27
